Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour
A guided walk through the Kilimanjaro foothills to Materuni Waterfall, with views of the surrounding valleys and an introduction to local Chagga life. Follow with a hands-on coffee experience demonstrating traditional processing, roasting, grinding and brewing, with coffee tasting. Activities depend on the host’s programme and season; fresh coffee harvesting cannot be guaranteed throughout the year.

Chemka / Kikuletwa Springs
Chemka, also known as Kikuletwa, is a natural spring of clear turquoise water surrounded by fig trees, approximately 1.5 hours’ drive from Moshi depending on road conditions. It is a popular spot for swimming, relaxing and a picnic day out between adventures.
Maasai Village Visit
A hosted introduction to Maasai culture, community history, beadwork and daily life. Depending on the chosen village and hosts, activities may include music, dancing, clothing demonstrations and traditional fire-making. The actual village and programme are confirmed when booking. Traditional plant knowledge shared by hosts is cultural interpretation, not medical treatment or advice.

Marangu Village Tour
A cultural day exploring Marangu on Kilimanjaro’s slopes: coffee farming, Chagga heritage, the local museum, historic caves, local cuisine and waterfalls where included in the agreed itinerary. Market visits depend on opening times and market days. Cave history is presented as explained by local hosts. Optional banana-beer tasting is for interested adults and costs extra unless expressly included. This cultural village tour is distinct from the Marangu Route mountain day hike to Mandara Hut.

Lake Chala
Visit the crater landscape of Lake Chala on the Tanzania–Kenya border. Enjoy viewpoints over the lake and guided walks along approved trails, with opportunities for birdwatching and time to appreciate the scenery.
Marangu Route Day Hike (Mandara Hut)
Walk through Kilimanjaro’s rainforest on a guided day hike along the Marangu Route towards Mandara Hut, at approximately 2,720 m. An optional visit to Maundi Crater is possible where time and conditions allow, before descending to the gate. Allow roughly 6 hours walking for the return outing, subject to pace. A picnic lunch is included. This is a day hike, not a summit climb, and is distinct from the separate Marangu village tour.
Shira Plateau Day Hike
Travel towards the western side of Kilimanjaro with vehicle access through the Londorossi and Murrum (Morum) Barrier area, followed by a guided walk across the Shira Plateau. Explore the open moorland and volcanic scenery of the Shira Plateau, with views towards Kibo when the weather is clear. An optional hike to Cathedral Point (Shira Cathedral), approximately 3,872 m above sea level, can be arranged, depending on fitness, weather, available time and your guide’s assessment. The high starting altitude makes this a demanding day outing despite the vehicle access.

Kilimanjaro Day Hike – Machame Route
A guided day hike along the Machame Route begins with hotel pickup, transfer to Machame Gate and park registration, followed by a walk through Kilimanjaro’s montane forest. Reaching Machame Camp and returning is a strenuous full-day option. Your guide determines the turnaround point according to your pace, daylight and conditions; reaching the camp is not guaranteed. Enjoy the forest scenery and look out for monkeys along the way, although wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Moshi Town
A relaxed walking tour of Moshi, the gateway town to Kilimanjaro, taking in the local market, coffee culture and views of the mountain when conditions are clear. A gentle introduction to everyday life in northern Tanzania.
Moshi Town & Rau Forest Cycling (full day)
Napuru Waterfalls
A guided walk to Napuru Waterfalls on the slopes of Mount Meru near Arusha, with time to enjoy the forest surroundings. Paths can be uneven and slippery, especially after rain.
Golf Experience
A round of golf at a nearby course with views towards Kilimanjaro when the weather is clear. Tee times and arrangements are confirmed on request.
Serval Wildlife
A visit to a wildlife sanctuary where guests can observe and learn about rescued animals in a responsible setting. Experiences are guided and follow the sanctuary’s welfare guidelines.
Lake Duluti
A peaceful walk around the crater lake of Lake Duluti near Arusha, with birdwatching and forest scenery. Guided walks follow the designated trails.
Meserani Snake Park
A visit to Meserani Snake Park near Arusha to learn about Tanzania’s reptiles and snakes through guided, educational displays.
Arusha Museum
A cultural stop at the Arusha Museum, exploring the natural and human history of the region. Opening hours and exhibits are confirmed on the day.
Cultural Heritage Centre
