Four Day Safaris — Into the Serengeti

Four days and three nights adds the Serengeti to a Manyara or Tarangire start, finishing in the Ngorongoro Crater. Both routes include one Serengeti overnight, with game viewing on the transfer days.

Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

4 days / 3 nights. Day 1 Lake Manyara, Day 2 transfer to the Serengeti, Day 3 Serengeti game viewing then transfer to Ngorongoro/Karatu, Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater and return. One Serengeti overnight.

Day 1

Moshi/Arusha — Lake Manyara National Park

Leave Moshi early morning and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Look out for flamingos and waterbirds, hippos, lions, zebras and plenty of bird species. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge near Manyara / Karatu.

Day 2

Transfer to the Serengeti

After breakfast, transfer to the Serengeti with game viewing as time permits en route. An Olduvai Gorge visit is optional, subject to time, access and additional cost. Enjoy a sunset game drive around the Seronera River. Overnight at your camp or lodge in the Serengeti.

Day 3

Serengeti — transfer to Ngorongoro/Karatu

An early morning sunrise game drive in the Seronera area, where wildlife takes advantage of the cooler temperatures. Return to camp for a full breakfast, then continue with a game drive and picnic lunch en route until the afternoon. Afterwards, transfer to the Ngorongoro / Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater — return

After breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full-day game drive among the wildlife of the caldera, with a picnic lunch en route. Thereafter drive back to Moshi or Arusha.
